⚖️ The new EU rule, handled in five minutes

Directive (EU) 2024/825 and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 require traders to show a standardised notice that reminds consumers of their minimum two-year legal guarantee. The design is fixed by the European Commission: you cannot rewrite it, crop it, recolour it or add your logo. It has to be visible before the customer is bound by the contract, and online it must come with a clickable link to the same destination as its QR code.

Doing this by hand means editing theme files, checkout templates and email templates, and hoping nothing breaks at the next update. This plugin does it for you.

Download the official notice from the European Commission, upload it once in the plugin settings and choose where it should appear. That is all. You never write any legal text, because all the explanations are already inside the official file, exactly as the regulation requires.

The notice is always shown in its original proportions, readable on mobile, and never altered. The required text link is added automatically next to it, and its destination can be changed from the settings if the Commission updates it.
